Each year, thousands of °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ· River State College (IRSC) students looking for financial assistance benefit from scholarships provided through the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·Foundation. Last year the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·Foundation awarded over $3 million in scholarships to more than 3,000 students to help them further their education goals.

Students on campus

The scholarship application period for new and returning °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·students for the 2020-2021 school year opens Friday, November 1, 2019. Deadlines to apply for °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·scholarships begin Friday, January 31, 2020. With hundreds of unique scholarships to apply for, every °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·student should take the time to see what sources of support may be available through the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·Foundation. 

Scholarships are awarded based on career interests, academic achievement, organizational affiliation, county of residence, financial need, and other criteria. Information and scholarship applications are available online at www.irscfoundation.org and through MyPioneerPortal.

Additionally, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·students who plan to graduate in Spring or Summer of 2020 who have plans to continue their education at a university may be eligible for transfer scholarships. Applications for transfer scholarships are also being accepted through January 31, 2020.
