°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ· River State College (IRSC) welcomes students, United States military veterans, and community members to attend the annual °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·Veterans Panel 11 a.m. Thursday, November 8 at the Schreiber Conference Center at the Pruitt Campus at 500 N.W. California Boulevard, Port St. Lucie. Listen as military veterans share their experiences from WWII to Operation Enduring Freedom and learn about veteran services and assistance available through °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·and other veteran service organizations. The event is conducted as part of IRSC International Education Week and in recognition of Veteran’s Day.

Doors open at 10 a.m. for a meet and greet followed by the panel discussion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Military veterans with service experience ranging from WWII to the modern era will take part in a multi-generational panel providing insight on their oversea experiences. Dr. Harvey Arnold, Provost of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·Pruitt Campus and a Vietnam Veteran, will serve as panel moderator.

Immediately after the panel participants can meet with °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÀúÊ·staff and representatives from Treasure Coast veteran service organizations. Veterans will receive assistance with planning and financing their education, and learn how military transfer credit can help earn a degree faster, to save both time and money.
